Nat_flow: Online Partners Meeting 14 June, 2023

On the June 14, 2023 Erasmus+ Sport project "Natural Flow" partners had an intermediate online project meeting. The meeting agenda covered:
  • Current status of the project survey.
  • Current state of natural movements.
  • Preparation of the training workshops.
The first workshop video is prepared by the coordinator organization La Cristaleria in Spanish. It was agreed by the partners that the English version is provided within June by the coordinator, so that Serbian and Latvian partners can prepare the workshop videos in their national languages.

SWIM: TM2 Zuera, Spain

Erasmus+ Sports project SWIM (Sports with Meaning), within the framework of which the SWIM challenge was held in Latvia until recently, on June 5 and 6 a similar challenge was held at our Spanish partner organization Colegio San Gabriel Zuera, as well as the second international meeting of all project partners - Türkiye Okul Sporları Federasyonu (Turkish School Sports Federation), Futbolo mokykla klubas Lituanica (Football Club Lituanica, Lithuania) and the already mentioned St. Gabriel's College.
During the meeting, the project partners created a digital competition segment and also marked a 2.2 km running route in nature for college students, teachers and parents, which was also completed by the entire project team the next day.

SWOST: Self-assessment tool final version

The main result of the Erasmus+ Sports project "Sports without Stereotypes" - an online self-assessment tool has been developed and the validation version is currently being tested. Sports organizations are invited to participate in the testing of the self-assessment tool.

Additionally, the most interested sports organizations and other stakeholders are invited to provide feedback and their comments of the self-assessment tool in the project website in Latvian HERE.

The Lucky Winners of Smartwatches in the SWIM Project Challenge Have Been Drawn

Purple Orange Gradient Giveaway Winner Instagram PostOn May 23, at the meeting of the Board of Directors of Sports Educational Institutions of Latvia, the winners of the "Walk&Hike&Run in #SWIMproject" raffle of the Erasmus+ project "Sports with Meaning" were determined. Garmin Instinct 2 Solar smart watches were won by Kristine Bumbiere from Jelgava Children and Youth Sports School and Kristofs Zalupe from Limbazi Regional Sports School. The lucky prize winners were drawn by the head of the Sports Subcommittee of Parliament Davis Martins Daugavietis. The draw could be watched online on the LSIIDP Facebook profile.

In the challenge, in which students of Latvian sports schools and clubs participated, the main task was to accumulate as many kilometers as possible by running or walking through the STRAVA application. Arturs Zeps from Valmiera Sports School won the 1st place and smart watch in a fierce and persistent fight with 354.5 km accumulated during the week, while Enriks Kalns from Sports Games School of Liepaja also fought for the victory with the same purpose, having accumulated 345.2 km. Appreciating his fighting spirit and performance, Enriks also receives a prize - a 100 euro gift card in the "MySport" store. "After 345 kilometers of running and walking, new sports shoes would be useful," added Sandija Zalupe, head of the LSIIDP project, with humor. All participants of the challenge who covered at least 15 km during the week took part in the draw.
